PhotosByAlec is a personal photography portfolio operated by Alec Hernaez, based in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit this site and how it is used.

This site does not use cookies, tracking scripts, or analytics. The only personal information collected is what you voluntarily submit through the contact form:

• Your name
• Your email address
• Your preferred session type
• Your message

This information is used solely to respond to your inquiry. It is not stored beyond what is needed to reply, and it is never sold, shared, or used for marketing.

Third-Party Services

This site uses the following third-party services:

• Web3Forms - processes contact form submissions. Your submitted data passes through their servers to deliver the message. See their privacy policy at web3forms.com/privacy.
• Pixieset - gallery links on this site open Pixieset, a third-party photo delivery platform. Their privacy policy applies when you visit those pages.

All photographs displayed on this site are the original work of Alec Hernaez (PhotosByAlec) and are protected under Canadian copyright law. All rights are reserved unless explicitly stated otherwise.

You may not download, reproduce, distribute, publish, or use any image from this site without prior written permission. Screenshotting or screen-recording photos for redistribution is also prohibited.

Photos delivered to clients via Pixieset are licensed for personal use only - social media, portfolio, and personal prints. Commercial use (advertising, merchandise, monetised content, or licensing to third parties) requires a separate commercial licensing agreement. Contact ahzwebdev@gmail.com to discuss.

If you share photos of yourself taken by PhotosByAlec, a credit to @photosbyalec.yeg is appreciated but not required.

Your Rights

Under Alberta's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA), you have the right to request access to or deletion of any personal information you have submitted. To make a request, contact me at ahzwebdev@gmail.com.
